  • The 2 earpieces, which are contained in aluminium cases, are connected together with a leather band made of the finest pigskin. The band is readily adjustable to any sized head by means of 2 steel wires, which slide inside the leather strap and which are connected to the earpieces themselves by ball joints. The pressure on the ears may be increased or decreased by bending the earpieces together or apart as required. The earpads are made from moulded brown bakelite.

There are 4 types of headphones available:

    • BC80: double headphone with 6 feet flexible cord and tags; Impedance 120Ω.
    • BC82: idem but 2000Ω.
    • BC83: idem but 4000Ω.
    • BC84: idem but 6000Ω.

When used in connection with Gecophone receiving sets, a special 2-pin plug  (BC493) is required.
