Annotazioni
Hallicrafters S-40B changed the number of tubes from 9 to 8, and deleted the rear panel DC Power Input Socket and the S-Meter Socket. The Speaker wires (2) were routed through a small hole and directly soldered in circuit.

The S-40B, S-40BU, and SC-40B were all the same except the "U" model used a Universal power transformer (120/240 volts; 25-60 Hz) for export.
