  • Combined tuner and receiver with a Fleming diode detector. The tuner uses an intermediate circuit. Two valves fitted but only one valve's filament will be powered at a time, the other valve is spare. The valves are operated with a plate voltage, which can be varied using the potentiometer. Requires high-resistance headphones.
