  • The National NTE-A Exciter and Speech Amplifier covers the amateur bands of 5, 10, 20 and 80 meters. It came standard with black wrinkle finish, but was available in black leatherette and gray finish for an additional charge. Delivers 10W output power. It is also a component of The National 600 Watt Transmitter.

    Note the two versions of the schematic. The one with the type 76 tubes is from a QST article, and the one with the 56 and 57 tubes is from the National manual for the 600 Watt Transmitter.
