This rackmount reissue (the “R” for “Recall”) brings the same core sound to a modern, user-friendly format while adding several workflow enhancements, including recall capabilities.

    Key Technical Details:

    • Preserves the signal path core: discrete, Class A with Marinair-spec transformers.
    • Manual sweepable (continuously variable) attack time for limiter: from 2ms down to 100µs, providing far greater flexibility than classic fixed settings.
    • USB connectivity enables total recall of unit settings via Neve software, ideal for hybrid and digital studios.
    • Features a 19" rack-mount 1U chassis, “total bypass,” link capability for stereo or surround work, variable compressor and limiter controls as with legacy units.

    Application:
Used to provide the authentic Neve coloration and response on any source—drums, vocals, full mixes—but with modern recall and improved workflow for current production environments

    Release Date:
    2009 for original reissue, relaunch/update in 2021
