  • Nordmende-Sterling Elektra 1/613US is an Electra 1/613 but has no LW like domestic models in Germany but 2 × SW (1,9-5 mc and 6-19 mc), FM from 88 to 108 MHz and has an electrostatic speaker 5" x 7" plus the MD. The model 2/613US has two electrostatic loudspeakers as the only differnce. Sterling Hi-Fidelity, Inc., 22-14 40th Ave., Long Island City, NY, is the importer.

There is something wrong with the Howard W. Sams information on this radio's alignment also. The RF alignment for the four frequency marker points does not appear to be correct. As in the schematic, I think Sams may have sloppily denoted the various adjustable coil numbers.

Help! Does anyone have the correct alignment information for the FM band for the Nordmende U138 export model?
