  • Notes
  • The early version of Philco Transitone model PT-25 from 1939 is marked as code 121 and has horizontal ribs across the speaker grill of its dark brown bakelite cabinet.

This is the second version from 1940 with code 122. It has a tuing range of 540 - 1720 kc and has horizontal sloped louvers across the speaker grill - as has the third version of 1941 with a slightly different scale.

Models PT-26 are the same but have a Built-In Loop Aerial. Of our knowledge all models PT-25 and PT-26 have dark knobs.

The versions of PT-27 differ with ivory painted bakelite cabinets and knobs. Models PT-28 are the same but have a Built-In Loop Aerial.
