  • The Pye APJ (6J8G/6J8GA) uses a slightly modified Astor GN chassis. Circuit values are otherwise the same.

    This model has three band-spread short wave ranges, covering the 19, 25 and 31 metre bands. This version was produced due to a shortage of 6AN7 converters.

    Note: the output transformer in this model is insulated from the chassis and its exposed metal body is connected to full high tension.
