Also found with "A" or "B" suffix such as JA-1A or JA-1B.
The JA-1 model is nearly identical to the RCA Victor 3-H-10 radio. It shares the same printed circuit board design, 962537-1, of many early RCA Victor transistor radios. This JA model name is a deviation to the 1-, 2-, 3- and 4- naming system of RCA for transistor radios of the same era.
RCA Victor RC-1199 and RC-1199A appear in 1961 Beitmans schematics. The RC-1199D appears in the 1963 schematics.
