  • Notes
  • This is an overview page for the different RR30 models and also pool for the available technical documentation.

Models can be discerned by exterior appearance:

    • RR brand
      • with cloth
        • with a magic eye frame that has stripes left and right (early model, not yet in radiomuseum)
        • normal magic eye frame (model with EBF80, with EF89)
      • with plastic grille
        • plastic grille with thin frame, shaped around the push buttons (model with EF89)
        • pastic grille with wide frame, covering most of the front, flat (model with EF89)
        • same features, but with EM84 (RR230-2)
        • same features, but with EM84 and FM (Leone RR230 UKT)
    • Ei brand
      • with plastic grille
        • pastic grille with wide frame, covering most of the front, flat (model with 2x ECH81)
    • Barclay
      • same as Ei

There are also different schematics and technical differences:

    • RR230, with EBF80
      • the schematic lists rectifier EZ21 as alternative (included here but not interchangeable with EZ80)
      • we don't currently know of any models equipped with this special recitifier type (it was likely only made in Yugoslavia)
    • RR230-a, with EBF80
      • the suffix "-a" might have been assigned to the previous version when "-b" was released, there are bascially no differences (see note below)
    • RR230-b, with EF89
      • detection with diode AA103
      • the combined schematic "-a" and "-b" shows an output stage with negative feedback (not present in the first schematic). We cannot be certain that this detail applies to "-a" as well, as the drawing mostly represents "-b"
    • RR230, with two ECH81
      • this might be version "-c" but no schematic is available as of now
      • this set probably uses diode AA112
      • the schematic might be the same as chassis RR430
