I submit the following correction contributed via personal email by Ed Lyon, editor of Radio Age, the newsletter of the Mid-Atlantic Antique Radio Club (MAARC).

"One mistake in the
page is that it claims that a headphone is necessary, but the round thing
seen in the picture is a loudspeaker..."
