    This model is comparable with Fenno V-42 S153A and Jura 153A.
     
    Attention:
    1) A generic schematic for type 153A made by Philips for its sub-brands exists. It shows a totally different schematic, number of tubes and chassis setup than the model presented here. Radio-vademecum Staleman defines types 144A and 153A as electronically similar which is in contradiction with the mentioned manual above. Up to this date it was not possible to decide for certain which source is right by lack of a physical model to be examined. There is however a Jura 153A and Fenno S153A (see links above) that would support the theory that S153A and S144A are related.
     
    2) Although the Siera memento 1932-1946 doesn't mention the existence of type S153A, a survey of the types of confiscated radios in the Netherlands in 1943 shows that type S153A was found as well as type 144A.
