  • The Goldentone 46 is an AC operated 4 tube BC and police band receiver.  The BC band frequency tuning range is 540-1500kHz. The police band frequency tuning range is 1.5Khz to 4MHz.  By turning the tone control to the extreme clockwise position, it operates like a switch and changes the band from the BC band to the police band.  This model was furnished with a 25' antenna wire.

    This model was manufacturered for Goldentone by the Simplex Radio Corporation. The Simplex model R AC is the chassis used for this radio.
