Dear administartors

In the TFK Allegro S page is uploaded the Andante S schematics and both circuits have important differences.

Probably the Allegro S model correspond to the 1952/1953 year and not to 1953/1954 because de original schematics is dated 30.12.1952 and the model was manufactured in 1953 for the TFK 50ª  anniversary.

Respectfully,

Bruno Gandolfo.

In the remarks it is clearly stated, that with the exception of the tone control circuitry the schematics are similar. I have no proof for that statement, but I think it might help until the "correct" schematic will be available. It is certainly better than nothing.

There is not always coincidence between Service documentation and catalog dates.

Best regards
KoBi

Hello Herr Birkner,

Thanks by your  attentive explanation.  When opening the Allegro S page in other languages the "Remaks" remain in German.

I made some mistakes restoring the Allegro S with the circuit of the Andante.  There is important differences in the pre amp and output stage.

In the next days I will receive the original schematics and I will do the correct upload.

Respectfully, B. Gandolfo.

  4 Thank You Mr.Gandolfo.
We are looking forward to get the correct schematics. That is the right way to improve.
Would You please kindly give notice that we can remove the improper one and cancel the respective remarks.
Best regards across the equator,
KoBi

Hello Herr Birkner,

Now you can remove the Andante  schematics and the respective remarks. The TFK Allegro S circuit was uploaded.

Would you please consider to change de Allergro S year because as I stated in my first post the schematics date was 30.12.1952 and the model was manufactured in 1953 for the TFK 50ª  anniversary.

Best regards, Bruno Gandolfo.

  6 Dear Mr.Gandolfo,
the schematic You uploaded is Allegro, not Allegro S.
The Allegro schematic is already in good quality with the right model.
Thank You,

Good afternoon Herr Birkner and Herr Roth,

My intention is not to argue with the respectable administrative gentlemen but the Allegro model is a six tubes radio in the R Museum page.  The Allegro S model is a seven tube radio with two tubes (EF85 - EC92) in the UKW unit.  The Allegro have only one UKW tube (EF85) according RMo.

In the attached files you will be able to see the Original seven tubes Schematics in the ruckwand of my restored Allegro S.  Then I think that I uploaded the correct schematics.

Respectfully, Bruno.

  8 Dear Kobi and Arpad,

I have respectfully submitted a Suggested Change to the Allegro model in support of Dr Gandolfo's reference to the "anomalies" within our database. I take no credit whatsoever for the suggested change, but there is a present discrepancy which should be resolved.

Kobi, you are correct that the differences are slight between the Allegro and the Allegro S, possibly due to the early  "higher-fidelity" circuit improvements.

Respectfully,
Robert

You are proposing the following changes:
  Now Suggestion
Valves / Tubes:  6:  ECH81 EF85 EF41 EABC80 EM11 EL41 7: EF85 EC92 ECH81 EF41 EABC80 EM11 EL41

Your source declaration / reason: Gentlemen, Regarding the recent postings by member Bruno Gandolfo-Canepa, and the responses from the Administrators/Officers Konrad Birkner and Arpad Roth, I respectfully request that the Allegro model data sheet reflect the 7 tubes that are listed on the original Telefunken data sheet AND the schematic. Respectfully, Robert Sarbell Please note: I take NO credit for the Suggested Change; however, I believe Dr Gandolfo should be recognized for noting the "anomalies". . . .

9 The early Allegros (with and without S) have both 7 tubes.
The main problem is that the manufacturer put an Allegro schematic to the Allegro S back.
Are they virtually the same?
This plan is already at the Allegro model, since it bears no S.
What else can we do?
As a matter of fact we cannot find a matching Allegro model in the catalogs, only the S - model. But the service paper depicts the Allegro.
My best educated guess is: the models are the same.  What else would the schematic do on that back?

Sorry, the mess was made by Telefunken....

Best regards,
KoBi

Dear Mr. Birkner and Mr. Roth,

Thank you very much by the accepted suggestions.

With the antecedents available it is possible to theorize that Allegro S is a improved model only in the cabinet for the 50 anniversary of Telefunken in 1953. The schematics is the same one in both models.

The model Aleggro S has patch in ruckwand the Allegro schematics , then seems logical to upload the Allegro schematics to the Allegro S page.

Best regards,

Bruno.

Dear Mr. Robert and Bruno,

You can see the difference between both models if you look the front side. Logo and ornament around magic eye.

Best regards,
Arpad R.
