  • This receiver was specially built by Tasma for the Police Carnival on February 25, 1939 to control a Police Dog out of voice range of the dog control officer.

    It was a battery powered, 2 valve, Super-Regenerative, HF (9 Metre) receiver mounted on a saddle and strapped to the back of the police dog. It was constructed in two boxes, mounted either side of the dogs back.
