Das Gerät entspricht schaltungstechnisch dem Philips 203U. Es ist mit Philips-Röhren und Bauelementen bestückt. Das Gehäuse besteht an den Seiten aus Holz, die Front- und Oberseite ist Pappe welche mit einem groben Stoff beklebt ist.

Das Gerät wurde von Philips Eindhoven hergestellt und ist ähnlich mit dem Siera S100U.
