  • The name "Afgeschermde Drie" means that this kit (with 3 receiving tubes) uses a shielded unit with a set of coils, which are fixed and which consequently have not to be replaced.

    A later development uses an improved shielded coil unit. The last version was equipped with a power supply for connection to 220 V DC (with tubes B442, B415, B543 and regulator tube 1904).

    The "Afgeschermde Drie" was also supplied in an AC version.

    It is easy to identify both the AC and DC kit as "Afgeschermde Drie", as only this Weco product is equipped with a coil unit with 6 or 7 connections at the back side.
