Below you find a part of the tube collection Karl Reiter.

Ich bin pensionierter Industrie-Elektroniker und beschäftige mich zum Zeitvertreib mit der Reparatur von Röhrenradios aus den 20er bis 70er Jahren. Ich entwickle und baue verschiedene Geräte und Steuerungen, je nach Anforderung und versuche mich auch im Programmieren von Microcontrollern (AVR, Arduino) . Daneben schreibe ich Lyrik und Prosa ( 5 Bücher veröffentlicht ).

Meine Sammlung von Radios ,Röhren und anderem ist im Laufe der Zeit eher unbeabsichtigt entstanden, weil ich nur ungern Dinge wegwerfe. Meine "Werkstatt": versch. Multimeter, Eigenbau-Mess-Sender AM und FM, Oszi 60 MHz und Speicher-Oszi 100MHz, NF-Generator, Trenntrafo, Regeltrafo, AC/ DC-Spannungsversorgung mit verschiedenen fixen und regelbaren Spannungen (Eigenbau), Eigenbau-Röhrenprüf-Gerät, Frequenz-Zähler und etliche spezielle, selbst konstruierte Geräte mehr.
Inzwischen sind einige der hier dargestellten Geräte nicht mehr in meinem Besitz, ich musste sie nach einer Übersiedlung einfach aus Platzgründen verkaufen,das hat fast alle nicht österreichischen Geräte betroffen. In letzter Zeit habe ich mich deshalb in erster Linie auf Kofferradios verlegt. Zur Zeit habe ca.230 Radios , hauptsächlich aus der Zeit von 1925 - 1970 alle aus österreichischer Produktion, davon etwa 70 Kofferradios. Die meisten dieser Geräte habe ich in manchmal desolatem Zustand bekommen und z.T. unter Mithilfe von RMorg-Mitgliedern wieder zum Leben erweckt, denn Hochfrequenz ist mir immer noch nicht ganz geheuer. Besonderer Dank gilt dafür den Herren Wolfgang Bauer, Gerhard Heigl, Hans Knoll, um nur ein paar zu nennen.
