Twin triode, the European version of the 12AT7,
especially designed for VHF, also good to use in
audio amplifiers; high amplification, low
internal resistance. Predecessors for VHF in
Europe were the pentodes EF42 and EF80.
Successors were the twin triodes ECC85, PCC85 and
UCC85 with a special shield between the triode
units.
