Below you find a part of the radio collection Thomas Albrecht - including other related items. I have a moderate-sized collection of U.S. and European antique radios from the 1920s - 1960s. In recent years I have gotten interested in early televisions and I have several early sets. I also have several mechanical phonographs -- both disk and cylinder types. I particularly enjoy electrical and mechanical repair and restoration of sets. I find the insides of antique radios at least as interesting as the outsides. I work as a research physicist in small Silicon Valley startup company making scientific instruments. I also restore antique radios, TVs, and phonographs for others in my spare time. |
