  • The Belmont 585 is an AC operated 5 tube BC and SW band receiver. This model was available with 4 different chassis as described below and was also sold under various brand names such as Montgomery Ward Airline 585D and Truetone (possibly others).

    Here are the major differences between the chassis types:
