• 5 valve, reflexed superhet with an IF of 175 kHz.

  Chassis:
  This was the first AWA radio to use a reflex circuit.
  The tuning capacitor frame is insulated from the chassis and no dial illumination is used.

  Chassis was also used in the Consolette Model 34 C124 and console 44 C125.
  The loud speaker field resistance for Models 24 and 34 is 1000Ω and the Model 44 is 2000Ω

  Two AWA drawings are known for this chassis, CD255 with the volume control controlling the gain of the Reflexed 6B7 and this model, CD264, dated Dec. 1933, in which the volume control controls the gain of the first two valves. There is no date on CD255 and it is not clear as to which was the original circuit. Advertising for the radio started in early November 1933 so it could be assumed that CD264 was the second version.

  Cabinet:
  Small, table model in Queensland Walnut veneer.
  The later production of this model had ventilation slots on both sides of the cabinet.
