  • 408F Louis XVI
    The model series 400 as style 408 Louis XVI was made only in two seasons: First model 408F and second model 408G for season 1938/39.
    Chassis:
    This Capehart series 400-F has the following chassis: Tuner with the following 12 tubes: 6K7, 6K7, 6L7, 6K7, 6G5, 6K7, 6H6, 6K7, 6H6, 6J7, 6C5, 5Z4 - according to Rider's 8; Bass Amplifier with 6N7G, 2 x 6C5G, 6F6G, 2 x 6L6G and 83 (25 watts, driving the 18 inch speaker, schematic N-920) and a Treble Amplifier (schematic N-919) with 6F6G, 2 x 6L6G and 5Z3. See also the rare model 500-FR which has on top of that "Middle Register Amplifier" with the same tubes as the "treble amplifier".
