• Bemerkung

• The model Kent 147 is a six tube AC/DC superheterodyne with three bands. In the scale, white is BC, green "Police" and red Short Waves.

  The 147 uses a special L42C-54 ballast tube with an extra resistor to power the green and red lamps for police and shortwave bands.  If a standard L42C ballast is used, connect a 20 ohm, 2 watt, resistor between pins 4 and 8 on the ballast tube socket.  The radio will operate with a standard L42C ballast but the green and red lamps will not light unless the resistor is added.

  This model is very similar if not identical to the Clinton model 147.
