  • Annotazioni
  • The DuMont RA-102 family of TV/FM/AM receivers (or "Telesets" as DuMont referred to them) includes the RA-102-B1 and RA-102-B2 Clifton consoles, and the RA-102-B3 Club large table model.

The Clifton models use a 12JP4 12-inch CRT, and the Club uses a 15AP4 15-inch CRT.

The earlier RA-102-B1 version of the Clifton has no focus control on the front panel, while the later RA-102-B2 version includes it, as well as some minor electrical changes to the chassis. The RA-103-B3 Club chassis is electrically identical to that of the the RA-102-B2 Clifton.

Like other early DuMont Telesets, the RA-102 family uses a single-band continuous tuning Mallory-Ware Inductuner (or "Inputuner" as DuMont called it) to cover the VHF low (including Channel 1), FM, and VHF high bands from 44-216 MHz. The Inductuner uses a triple roller inductor. Separate AM tuner circuitry is provided with a conventional 2-gang variable capacitor for tuning.

The HV supply is a pulsed RF type, running in sync with the horizontal sweep, but otherwise indpendent (not coupled to deflection yoke).
