Description

This tube was developed by RCA in October 1936 and announced in the November 1936 issue of QST magazine. The tube made by many US manufacturers, internationally made by Philips in Holland, AWV in Australia, Nanking Co in China, Toshiba in Japan, MOV in the UK and others. A tube exists in a collection in the US branded "Mullard made in U.S.S.R.". Another Russian tube seen is branded Philips.Several factories in Russia made the tube, (identified as CCCP (4) in the Universal Vade-Mecum). It is extentionally covered on page 76 of "Tube Lore " II by Lud. Sibley

Meilleure configuration hifi pour tube 807

 La comparaison entre les graphiques de distorsion chez STC montrent que la meilleure configuration en Hifi est de loin la suivante pour un push-pull AB1 : 600v anodiques ; 300v g2 ; polarisation fixe de -29,5v ; R d'anode à anode de 10kΩ.

Il est curieux de noter que cette configuration proposée aussi chez Ferranti, n'est même pas mentionnée chez RCA, ni chez Brimar.
