    Apparecchio con mobile in bachelite e con circuitazione supereterodina in grado di ricevere le onde lunghe, medie e corte.
    1) OL: 715-2000 m (420-150 kHz);
    2) OM: 185-580 m (1600-520 kHz);
    3) OC 1: 32-50,5 m;
    4) OC 2: 21,5-32 m;
    5) OC 3: 17-26 m;
    6) OC 4: 13,5-20 m.
    Da sinistra verso destra troviamo il controllo toni, estraendo il quale si attiva l’ingresso fono, segue il controllo volume con l’interruttore di rete, la manopola di sintonia dotata di volano e infine il commutatore per il cambio gamme d’onda a sei posizioni. L’ascolto avviene tramite due altoparlanti disposti coassialmente: uno per le frequenze alte e uno per frequenze basse. Abbastanza complessa la meccanica della regolazione di sintonia ove il condensatore variabile e l’indicatore sulla scala parlante sono mossi da un sistema separato di funicelle che viene però azionato contemporaneamente dall’apposita manopola. E’ curioso il fatto che questo ricevitore impiega 6 valvole: (ECH 21, EBL 21, 2 x EAF 42, EM34 e AZ1) appartenenti a 4 serie diverse (Tipo P o Vaschetta o Octal europeo; Octal, Locktal e Rimlock). Posteriormente al mobile si trova la presa antenna, l’ingresso fono e l’uscita per un altoparlante supplementare.

    This radio can accomodate EAF41 as well as EAF42: see wiring diagram.

    AM radio for external antenna:

    • BC: 517 - 1620 kHz.
    • SW1: 5,94 - 9,38 MHz.
    • SW2: 9,37 - 13,95 MHz.
    • SW3: 11,54 - 17,65 MHz.
    • SW4: 17,65 - 26,8 MHz.
    Loudspeaker: 9696-05 (5Ω, with soundwave diffuser).
    Dial lamp: 2x 8045D (E10, 6.3V/320mA).

I uploaded some images of the BX-490A and mistakenly placed them under the BE version of that model, not knowing that there were two distinct versions.  To the appropriate moderator, please re-locate my images to the NL version since the provenance of my set is definitely from NL.  Can anyone tell me the difference between the two models?.  Dank je wel, et Merci,  Rich KB8TAD
