This is a AM/FM phonograph console manufactured by Pilot Electric.
The top lid of the cabinet covers the tuner/preamplifier on the left side and the record changer on the right side.
The electronic components are the Pilot Model 590 AM/FM tuner/preamplifier which has 16 tubes and the Pilot Model SA-232 amplifier that has 8 tubes. The turntable is the Garrard model RC 88/4 record changer.
There is a separate 4 position speaker selection switch which selects main, channel A, channel B, and Vistaphonic 3 channel. There are provisions to attach one or two extension speakers.
The wood cabinet is made of fruitwood.
