    One of the three Shortwave bands is Trawler/Marine band about 185m to 67m.

    From 1954 The Irish made Pye sets increasingly diverged from UK models as Ireland had no official national public FM Radio till 1970s and then only one station. FM test transmissions on one transmitter from 1962. At time of writing the only Pye with a similar valve/Tube line up identified is the New Zealand Pye PZ92 which uses EM34 rather than EM80 Magic Eye.
