  • Attention: This model has probably never existed for the following reasons:

    • No other source than the «Thali Schemasammlung» lists this model. Its mentioned properties are the same as type 196X. Type 196A stays in the database because there is one source mentioning it.
    • Radio-Vademecum Staleman lists type 196X, not 196A.
    • No model or photo from it was ever found.
    • No reference to it in the technical manual for type 196X.
    • Type 194X is in fact an AC model: "X" meaning AC mains with provisions for an optionally DC to AC convertor. The convertor is not built-in by default.
