Founded in 1948 by Etsuro Nakamichi as 'Nakamichi Research Corporation Ltd.' (Nakamichi Kenkyujo Kabushiki Kaisha) in Tokyo, Japan.
Now 'Nakamichi Corporation' under leadership of Etsuro's son, Takeshi Nakamichi.
